Presidential Candidates

I have just realized that I do not know enough about the presidential candidates to make an informed decision when it comes time to vote.... I suck. I have been so wrapped up in the kids that the whole world is a blur around me. Time to wake up and see what's going on. Who stands for what? Who do I want running our country? Let's be honest... a republican candidate will not be getting into the White House this year. So... which Democratic candidate am I most impressed with? No clue. I have never like Hillary. But that is a personality thing. I have no idea where she really stands on the issues. And I know next to nothing about Obama or Edwards, either. So... anyone want to give me a heads up? What sites are out there that you would suggest as a way to educate myself without too much confusion? I am an intelligent woman but am out of the loop politically...

can't help you. I too am uninformed. Don't shoot me, but I've never voted in the 10 years that I've been allowed to. Either due to being ill, in the middle of a move or being uninformed. But my motto is "No voting = no complaining." Hopefully I will get to vote this year.

I am having the same problem. Who to vote for. BUT, I WILL NOT vote for a Dem. just because I think there will be a dem. pres this time. You better not either! What I am hearing is go to candidate and use the .gov, .org, or .edu and see what that brings up about them. Please don't vote for one of the dem's just because the Rep. ma;ybe wont get in this time. I think is Obama or Clinton get the nomination a lot of people will vote for a Rep. instead. I have to do some soul searching before tomorrow myself... Good luck. Mom.

I am clueless. Just this morning I was also wondering if there was a website out there that lays out the issues.

I think our primary (?) thing is coming up soon and I don't have a clue.

Mom.... I won't vote for a republican just because they are a republican. Or a dem just because they are a dem. The only reason I am a registered republican is because it is closer to my ideals than dem. But not on everything! So... I will vote with the issues... not the party. Luckily, I have until March before MS primaries! LOL

Hey Honey... I am going to send you an email with a good site to read up on all the candidates... from both parties.. It's how I chose. But for the primaries you can only vote for someone from the party you are regestered for. Keep that in mind... If the person you really want isn't in your regestered party.. then at least you can pick someone who is the least of the evils for now!

What Chelle said...unless you're in South Carolina, which is pretty cool. I could vote in either primary, but only in one. I find it nifty because it means my Independent registration doesn't keep me from a primary vote the way it would in other states!

The jewelry is very pretty. I am voting for Mike Huckabee if he stays in the race until my primary. He is the most conservative candidate running.
